Average gasoline prices in Missouri have risen 22.2 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $4.71 per gallon Monday, according to GasBuddy’s survey of 3,940 stations in Missouri. Prices in Missouri are 63.0 cents per gallon higher than a month ago and stand $1.96 per gallon higher than a year ago. According to GasBuddy price reports, the cheapest station in Missouri was priced at $3.76 per gallon Sunday while the most expensive was $5.41 per gallon, a difference of $1.65 a gallon. The national average is up 57.1 cents per gallon from a month ago and stands $1.94 per gallon higher than a year ago, according to GasBuddy data compiled from more than 11 million weekly price reports covering over 150,000 gas stations across the country. The price of diesel has fallen 4.0 cents nationally in the past week and stands at $5.50 per gallon.
