Missing boy from Bucklin found safe

A missing boy from the area has been found safe and sound. The Macon County Sheriff’s Office told Kirksville TV station KTVO, Dustin “Connor” Sawyer, 15, of Bucklin, was located around 12:30 p.m. Monday by the Coralville, Iowa Police Department. A missing underage girl from Marceline, who had apparently been traveling with Sawyer, was also located safe and sound. The sheriff’s office said she was not with Sawyer at the time he was found, but he directed the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office to her location. She was also safe. The girl was found around 1 p.m. Monday.
