Emergency pavement repairs have narrowed eastbound U.S. Route 36. Crews from the Missouri Department of Transportation closed the eastbound driving lane (right lane) of U.S. Route 36 yesterday, between Route F and Route 5 south (between Brookfield and Marceline). A 14-foot width restriction is also in place. The lane closure will continue through noon on Friday, March 4. All work is weather-permitting, and schedules are subject to change. MoDOT asks drivers to work with them by always buckling up, keeping your phone down, slowing down and moving over in work zones.
