A collision between an SUV and a tractor Sunday afternoon sent one of the drivers to the hospital. It happened at 3:42 p.m. at the intersection of Missouri Highway 6 West and Industrial Road in Kirksville. Police say a farm tractor, driven by a 12-year-old juvenile, was traveling east bound on Highway 6 and was making a left hand turn on Industrial Road when the collision happened. Officers said the SUV was traveling west bound on Highway 6 when it made a side impact collision with the tractor. The collision caused the SUV to overturn in the intersection, leaving the driver, Cheyenne Beaty, 25, injured. Beaty was transported to the hospital by ambulance. The driver of the tractor was not injured.
