Authorities say 90 year old Sarah Greer of Bucklin was injured when she exited her vehicle to check for an obstacle and failed to place the vehicle in park. The vehicle rolled backwards and struck Greer trapping her leg under the vehicle. The incident happened Sunday night at 6:20 pm in Linn County at 105 West 3rd Street in Bucklin. According to the report, her injuries were minor and she was transported by Linn County Ambulance to University Hospital in Columbia for treatment. The highway patrol with assistance from the Linn County Sheriff’s Department investigated the incident.
