Last night the Marceline Tigers squeaked out a 2-1 win over the Brookfield Bulldogs at Lions Field in Marceline. The game was heard here on KDWD. Wyatt Malloy gave a first inning run on an RBI single by Payton Parn. Hunter Quinn supplied all the offense Marceline would need in the bottom of the third inning. Malloy threw six innings, striking out 14 and allowing only 2 hits to get the win. Jaxon Schmitt pitched the 7th to pick up the save. Bryson Collier took the loss for Brookfield only giving up 2 runs in 4 innings.
