Keegan O’Toole wrapped up a phenomenal wrestling campaign for the Mizzou Tigers by making program history. O’Toole defeated Stanford’s Shane Griffith to claim the program’s first national title in the 165 pound weight class. The freshman is the first national champion for Mizzou Wrestling since Columbia native J’den Cox did so back in 2017. O’Toole finished the season an undefeated and didn’t give up a point until the finals match on Saturday. Rocky Elam also placed nationally for Mizzou, finishing fourth in the 197 pound weight class.
