A Macon man was badly hurt Thursday afternoon in a rollover crash. It happened at 1:45 p.m. on Jewell Avenue, four miles north of Macon. State troopers say an SUV driven by Raymond Wood, 54, of Macon, ran off the right side of the gravel road and overturned. Wood suffered serious injuries. He was taken by ambulance to Samaritan Hospital in Macon for treatment. The Missouri State Highway Patrol’s online crash report states Wood was not wearing a seat belt.
