The Highway Patrol said a Brookfield resident, 65 year old Norman L. Duncan received minor injuries in a single vehicle crash Sunday morning around 11 am on MO 11, 3 miles east of Brookfield. According to the report, Duncan was southbound when his vehicle traveled off the left side of the roadway and down an embankment. The vehicle then struck a tree and overturned. Duncan was transported by Linn County Ambulance to Pershing Hospital in Brookfield for treatment. The Brookfield Police and Fire Departments assisted at the scene.
