Keytesville R-3 School District will not be in session through Monday, January 24. According to Superintendent Josh Shoemaker, this is due to illness, staff shortages and to allow for deep cleaning of the building. Shoemaker says the district is scheduled to return to regular classes on Tuesday, January 25. Homework packets were sent home with elementary students on Tuesday, January 18; and high school students will receive instruction and work via Google Classroom. Shoemaker says, “The health of our students, staff and our community is of highest importance to us.”
Shoemaker adds, varsity basketball games will be played as scheduled at Norborne on Thursday, January 20, and at Linn on Friday, January 21.
