Linn County court has sentenced a Brookfield man in two separate cases

A Linn County court has sentenced a Brookfield man in two separate cases. Linn County Prosecuting Attorney Shiante McMahon says in a news release that Clarence Turner will serve six years in the Missouri Department of Corrections for one felony counts of first degree sexual abuse and one count of being a sex offender physically present within 500 feet of a park with playground equipment. These cases were investigated by the county sheriff’s office, Brookfield Police Department and Missouri Probation and Parole.

 

A Linn County court sentenced a Brookfield man in two separate cases. According to the Linn County Prosecuting Attorney, Nicholas Jones received a 16-year sentence in the Department of Corrections on four counts of second degree sodomy. The cases were investigated by the Linn County Sheriff’s Office.

 

A Brookfield man convicted of possession child pornography received a sentence in court yesterday. The Linn County Prosecuting Attorney says James Jackson will serve 15 years in the Missouri Department of Corrections on two counts of sexual exploitation of a minor and possessing more than 20 images of child pornography. The case was investigated by the Brookfield Police Department and the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
