Missouri House Minority leader has met Attorney General’s lawsuit against schools

Missouri House Minority Leader Crystal Quade, D-Springfield, has met Attorney General Eric Schmitt’s lawsuits against school district mask mandates with a move of her own. According to a release, she filed legislation today which would reimburse public school districts for legal expenses “incurred defending against frivolous lawsuits filed by the Missouri Attorney General Eric Schmitt.” Quade is also quoted as saying, “local public school budgets are already stretched thin because of the pandemic…They shouldn’t have to foot the bill for Eric Schmitt’s shameful campaign stunts.”
