Pedestrain Killed in Moberly Crash

A 68-year-old male pedestrian was struck and killed in a Moberly Crash Saturday afternoon. According to the Moberly Police Department, at approximately 12:30 pm, officers responded to 1800 East Outer Road in Moberly in reference to a vehicle striking a pedestrian. The investigation revealed a 27-year-old male was backing east in a private parking lot and accidentally hit the pedestrian. The man later died from his injuries at a nearby hospital. His identity is not being released until the next of kin is notified. The Moberly Police Department is investigating the accident. Randolph County Ambulance District personnel along with the Randolph County Sheriff’s Department and Moberly Fire Department provided on scene assistance.
