A Higbee man and 9-year-old boy were killed in an accident involving a train in Randolph County Tuesday morning. The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the vehicle driven by 53-year-old Kevin Campbell entered a railroad crossing on County Road 2795 equipped with warning and crossing signs and was struck by the Norfolk Southern train. Campbell and the child were pronounced dead at the scene. A third occupant, a 12-year-old boy, was taken to University Hospital in serious condition.
